Product Introduction
The temperature sensing element of a bimetal thermometer consists of a bimetal sheet, which is wound into a spiral shape. When heating, bimetal sheet is expand, as the expansion coefficient of active layer and passive layer of the bimetal sheet is different, and the torsion is produced, so that the heat energy is converted into mechanical energy, driving the pointer to rotate, and the purpose of displaying the temperature of the measured medium is realized.
Electric contact bimetal thermometer: in addition to indicate temperature on site, through the upper and lower set contact, when the temperature reaches the set value, contact closed or open, make relay in the t control circuit act, so as to automatically control and alarm.

Installation Method
Assure accurate measurement, the immersion length of bimetallic thermometers must be more than the length of sensing element(usually immersion length is more than 75mm).
Before using, please check the dates of bimetallic thermometers if they exceed the assurance time(18 months). If they are overdue, need to retest.
All kinds of bimetallic thermometers are not suitable to measure the temperature of open container. Bimetallic thermometers with contact point are not suitable used in the strong vibration place.
In the installation procedure, please force on hexagonal pert to screw, don't turn the indictor head to screw.
If measuring big flow or strong corrosive medium, please use protective tube.
