Sanitary RTD Probes are one type of widely used in food industry. Its common mark is PT100, with probe material SS304.
Products Introduction
Sanitary RTD Probes usually use a platinum thin film resistance element to sense the temperature. It is more accurate and more linear than thermocouples and generally slower responding. It is usually measure the temperature range of -200~600°C, connected with display instrument, recording meter and computer, etc. to directly measure temperature of liquid, gas, solid surface. Its element is mainly made of Pt or Cu. Filaments are evenly double-wrapped in insulating ceramic skeleton. It is called ceramic element. It has the advantage of fine high-temperature stability.
