Products Description
It is a kind of metal or alloy wire forming two thermal electrodes of a thermocouple. It has positive and negative anodes and as the core of assembly thermocouple, it is the most important for thermocouple.
K type thermocouple wire consist of Nickel chrome alloy wire (positive) and Nickel silicon alloy wire or nickel aluminum alloy wire (negative). Long time operating temperature is 1000℃ and short time operating temperature is 300℃. The main advantages are large thermo electromotive force, approximately linear thermoelectric characteristics, high accuracy and low price. It can be used in reducing, neutral and oxidizing gases below 500℃, and can only be used in oxidizing and inert gases above 500℃.
