L shape thermocouple is mainly for the situation where is high temperature and harmful gas have influence on the thermocouple junction box, or it is not suitable for horizontal and vertical installation. Common used mark is K or E type, it is also could choose other mark (N/J/T/S/R/B) according to temperature requirements. Mainly used in metallurgy, chemical industry, non-ferrous metal smelting, especially suitable for liquid aluminum, liquid copper temperature testing, because of its high density, temperature measurement process is not eroded by liquid aluminum; Good thermal shock resistance, insulation resistance to oxidation, wear resistance to high temperature, long service life.

1. Wire element: over 800℃, it is suggested use diameter 2mm and 2.5mm, the thickest: 3.2mm
2. Cold point (not insert to test temperature): SS304/SS316/310S
3. Hot point (insert part):
If long time used over 800℃, it is suggested 310S, Inconel600, GH3030, GH3039 (high temperature alloy) or ceramic tube.
If used in corrosive environment, it is suggested SS316L.
4. Silicon nitride protection tube mainly for aluminum solution; silicon carbide protection tube mainly for acid solution.

If packed with no assembly, the fragile tube (silicon nitride, silicon carbide, ceramic) will be packed with plywood case with hanging bracket separately, other parts (core, terminal head, cold point SS tube, elbow connector) packed with common case:
