Classification Of Compensation Wires

Oct 26, 2021

Compensation accuracy is divided into ordinary level and precision level. The error after precision level compensation is generally only half of that of ordinary level, which is usually used in places where measurement accuracy is required. For example, the compensation wire of S and R graduation number, the tolerance of precision grade is ±2.5℃, the tolerance of ordinary grade is ±5.0℃; the compensation wire of K and N graduation number, the tolerance of precision grade is ±1.5℃ , The tolerance of ordinary grade is ±2.5℃. In the model, the ordinary grade is not marked, and the precision grade is indicated by adding'S'.

In principle, it is divided into extension type and compensation type. The nominal chemical composition of the extension type alloy wire is the same as that of the matched thermocouple, so the thermoelectric potential is also the same. It is different from the matched thermocouple, but within its working temperature range, the thermoelectric potential is similar to the nominal value of the thermoelectric potential of the matched thermocouple, which is indicated by'C' in the model.

The working temperature is divided into general use and heat resistance. The general working temperature is 0 ~ 100 ℃ (a few are 0 ~ 70 ℃); the heat resistance working temperature is 0 ~ 200 ℃.

In addition, the cores can be divided into single-stranded and multi-core (flexible) compensation wires, and divided into ordinary and shielded compensation wires based on whether they are shielded or not, as well as compensation wires for intrinsically safe circuits dedicated to explosion-proof occasions.
